How to build an effective wellbeing programme at Wembley Stadium

How to Build an Effective Wellbeing Programme at Wembley Stadium on 28th November

On 28th November, we ran our first external event – at Wembley Stadium!
How to Build an Effective Wellbeing Programme is a workshop we’ve designed for organisations who are looking either for help to begin the process of building a wellbeing programme or advice on how to improve or develop an existing programme.  We had a packed room full of people who are passionate about employee health and wellbeing, some of whom were right at the beginning of their journey and others who were looking for tips to help them improve on what they already had in place.
Prior to the event, attendees had a chance to try out MyWellbeingCheck, our online lifestyle assessment.  The assessment takes the temperature of employee wellbeing and produces a company wellbeing score and wellbeing risk.  It’s a great way to gather benchmark data and to identify hotspots in such areas as nutrition, fitness, mind and others, and these can be used to focus on the right initiatives to improve  a wellbeing strategy.  At the event, attendees were able to refer to their individual Company Health Reports that contained data gathered through MyWellbeingCheck, to help them design or enhance their programme.

We were very pleased to welcome our guest speaker, Karl Simons, who is Head of Health, Safety, Security and Wellbeing at Thames Water.  Karl shared some really interesting stories about the very successful Thames Water wellbeing programme which we’ve supported since 2013 with a range of initiatives including our onsite health checks.
