In October 2020 we launched the UK’s first multi-pharmacy digital flu voucher model and just 12 months on, we are so pleased to announce that it is now, albeit a bit of a mouthful, the UK’s first multi-award-winning multi-pharmacy digital flu voucher model!

Last night (6^th October 2021), the Healthy Performance team attended the 2021 WSB Awards at the Sheraton Grand London and scooped up two prestigious awards for Workplace Savings and Initiative of the Year and Best Use of Technology for Benefits.

Not only do these awards celebrate the growth that Healthy Performance has experienced over a tough 18 months, but they reinforce our core business values; innovative, inspiring, impactful.

Our Digital Flu Voucher Journey

Over the last 3-4 years many clients voiced their frustration with the traditional paper flu voucher scheme. They had to pay upfront for a quantity of paper vouchers without knowing if they were ever used.

We were always going to build a Digital Flu Voucher in 2021, however, because of Covid-19 and increased hygiene awareness, we knew we had to bring this forward.

On 3^rd August 2020, we set ourselves the huge challenge of not only building a platform that can exceed client expectations, with full auditability of employee vouchers, but also convincing some of the UK’s largest pharmacy chains that this would work at very short notice.

Just under 9 weeks later, the scheme was ready to launch with Lloyds, Sainsburys, Asda and Dear’s Pharmacy all on board, making the digital flu voucher scheme available in over 2,000 UK pharmacies.

How has the platform changed since 2020?

For 2021, we have built on what was already in place, maintaining our position in providing the only digital flu voucher that can be used across multiple pharmacies. This included enhancing the employee experience further with added value features that were not available in 2020. Plus, most importantly, we have increased the number of participating pharmacy brands and branches which now sits at over 4,000.
